River Parishes Community College is located in Sorrento, Louisiana is currently seeking qualified applicants for the following full-time positions:

Biology Instructor
Minimum requirements: Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Post graduate study and ability to teach in more than one field preferred.

Sociology Instructor

Minimum requirements: Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Post graduate study and ability to teach in more than one field preferred.

Teacher Education Instructor
This faculty member would be responsible for field experiences for education courses. This includes the recruitment, training, and support of mentor teachers, as well as the supervision and observation of RPCC teacher candidates. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, with grades 1-5 certification. Preferred: Master’s degree in Elementary Education with 18 graduate semester hours in education; LA TAPP certification; Ascension Parish assessor trained
